Tips on Toilet Training Multiple Dogs in an Apartment

I am a pet lover. I had kept 7 dogs until now in my live. 3 of them had died of old age and lived up to 14-15 years, there were Pomeranian.
I now have 4 dogs at home, 3 silky terriers and a hybrid Maltese X poodle, 2 of them only came in when they were 2 years old. We all stay in a studio Apartment unit.

Each of them has different characteristic, they need individual attention and private play time, most importantly, toilet and obedience training, and potty training older dogs are very different from training puppies. Moreover, toilet training multiple dogs in apartment is very much challenging than to have only one dog with a land area.

3 Tips to Toilet Train your Dogs

When you train adult dogs, there are 3 most important tips to work on it.
o firstly, you can find out your dog's habits by observing, if the dog likes to pee or poop near stacks of book or documents, your dog has a perception that paper is the object to do his business, therefore, just place some old newspapers in the toilet where you want it to pee.

o secondly, if you have more than 1 male dog, your dog's misbehaviour might be due to territorial marking. Therefore, you have to let them determine who is the dominating dog in the different areas in your home, such as living or bed room. Separate their area and spend private playing time with them in their area, feed them only in their own territories.

O finally, if all those don't seem to work, you can try a Pee Post, this way, you can keep as many furry boys as you like, and let them Pee and claim and then reclaim the post as many times as they want to.
Toilet training multiple dogs in apartment needs a lot of patience and love. it might take a little longer but it is worth a try, just like having a child compared to having a few children in the house. I hope my experience could be useful to you. Good Luck!
